Children’s Centre – Middlesex

This project was to construct a new children’s centre to form part of an existing primary school. The build was an unusual design combining convex curved roofs with adjoining flat roof areas between. This was formed combining supporting curved steels with our curved panels. The roofs were formed using BCI-joists set to a radius. We also fully sarked the roof with 15mm OSB to accept a single-ply membrane finished with the latest ‘green roof system’.

We managed to achieve a rapid build programme on site with a very restricted space; this was assisted utilizing the latest compact city-cranes. Our total build period was 2½ weeks.
