This is a fine sample of rags to riches and the secret of his success is hard work and dedication. Simon has expanded Frame Wise over the years from a small office and manufacturing area on the Industrial Estate in Presteigne to include a 5 acre site on the Broadaxe business park, which incorporates a fully automated manufacturing facility.

Simon said “the next two years are going to be a challenge but I am excited at the prospect”. I intend to apply my extensive knowledge of running a successful timber frame business and I am proud of this new opportunity and it further strengthens the critical role, Frame Wise plays in delivering leading edge design and innovation.

Simon has always been hands on at Frame Wise, with wife Jennifer they have built a local business, supporting the local community where possible, but what people don’t realize is that Frame Wise is now a national player covering the whole of the UK including France and the Channel Islands with Timber Frame. Who says “little acorns cannot become oak trees”, and is a key part of the local community and members of the UK Timber Frame Association from its inception. Flexibility and listening to our customers has been the secret to our success and that is why I will bring such energy to the association in these tough times.

As a local business man Simon has never forgotten the local community, Frame Wise pride themselves on supporting local when possible; Frame Wise are main Sponsors of Luctonians Rugby Club at Kingsland, as well as Presteigne Ladies Hockey club and many more organisations.
